Healthcare Deal Making Set to Surge in 2023

The Wall Street Journal ran an article today pointing out that 2022 was expected to be a big year for healthcare M&A as a result of depressed valuations for smaller companies and cash rich big pharma companies trying to bolster their pipelines. However, aggregate transactions were down 56% for the year. There are a variety of reasons why this trend is expected to turn around in 2023.
